L&A Special Olympics wants your empties (July 27, 2013)

On Saturday July 27, from 9:30-3:30, L&A Council members, Coaches & Athletes will be outside the Beer Store, at 450 Centre Street collecting any empty bottles you might like to donate!  All proceeds go to support the local L&A Chapter of Special Olympics!  [We raised $626.65, thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate]

Napanee Law Enforcement Torch Run (June 5, 2013)

The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is a community based, province-wide event that sees the "Flame of Hope" carried across Ontario by members of Law  Enforcement agencies from across the province. The objective of this and other events is to raise funds for and awareness of the Special Olympics movement in Ontario.

All funds raised through Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run events are directed into program support that directly affects all community Special Olympic Ontario (SOO) programs.  The development of Special Olympics Ontario is directly related to the success of the Torch Run.

Voluntary Mall Toll at Walmart in Support of the Torch Run (March 30, 2013)

Saturday, March 30 from 9-3, L&A Athletes, Coaches, and members of the OPP, as well as Officers from Corrections Services Canada will be once again setting up a Mall Toll at Walmart in Napanee!

We will be asking for donations from Wal-Mart shoppers. Please remember to bring spare change or bills that would be generously accepted with all proceeds going to support the amazing programs and achievements of our Special Olympians across Ontario!

"A Night to Feel Inspired" Gala Event (February 9, 2013)

February 9th, 2013 will be “A Night to Feel Inspired” as Special Olympics and Community Living Lennox and Addington co-host a Gala to raise funds to assist all individuals we support residing in our County by providing them with the resources to live, work and play as they strive to be productive citizens of their respective Communities.

Tickets are $80/person. This is a black tie event and will include auctions, dinner, entertainment and dancing. 

Tickets sold at Napanee Opticians, as well as from Community Living L&A and L&A Special Olympics Executive / Coaches

Napanee Santa Clause Parade (December 1, 2012)

Special Olympic Athletes will be joined with Coaches and members of the Community Council to participate in the Napanee Santa Clause Parade.  Our athletes will be handing out candy along the route!
